Exciting changes on the way

Since 2008, Ocean Gardens has undertaken some significant upgrades to the facilities including:-

  • Fibre optic cabling installed throughout the village to every villa and apartment
  • Function room, restaurant, reception and provision of new coffee lounge area with external decking
  • New swimming pool, gym, change rooms together with new bar area and bbq deck.
  • New library & sales office
  • Upgrading of central toilet facilities
  • Refurbishing the common areas of the apartment blocks
  • Upgrading of Deck and Courtyard Gardens
  • Planting four mature Poinciana trees
  • Installed WiFi in central buildings area
  • Extensive upgrade of all village gardens
  • Provided large number of additional visitor parking bays.

Palm Gardens Apartments

In January 2016 we commenced construction of the much anticipated Palm Gardens Apartments. There will be 11 apartments over four levels built to a premium standard, as are all our facilities, with unsurpassed views to the Ocean, the Hills and the City of Perth. Gardens Upgrade

Ocean Gardens is undertaking a major upgrade of our gardens with our Gardens Team. We have already made significant inroads to improve but with a 6.3 Hectare site, it takes time. We envisage it will take another 2 years to make the significant changes we are aiming for.

Future Developments

The Board have completed a Master Plan for the Village that shows the potential future redevelopment sites in the Village. There are three immediately identified projects that will either be undertaken or investigated further being.

Balandi Way (Ocean Mia)

We have purchased a 2500 sqm block adjoining the village near the back gate next to the Ocean Mia subdivision. We are in the preliminary stages of concept planning and design for a multi unit development.


Bowling Green Apartments

This area of the Village has been identified for a number of years as a redevelopment site. Further investigation and project analysis is being undertaken on this apartment block and additional parking areas. 

Ocean Gardens is able to fund these projects because being a not-for-profit organisation, all surpluses are put back into the Village.
