At Ocean Gardens, your safety and happiness are our number one priority. We understand you want to enjoy life as independently as possible in your own home, and we will consult with you and assist you every step of the way to do this.
The Ocean Gardens community is a connected one, where residents look out for each other and our Management, Care and Wellness Teams provide opportunities to lead a healthy and fulfilling life.
As a not-for-profit organisation, all surplus funds are reinvested into the village to enhance and improve amenities and overall services, ensuring our residents can fully enjoy and benefit from all we have to offer.
Our evolution
Established in the mid-1980s, our community has grown over time to include 161 villas and 71 apartments, with 11 located in our beautifully modern Palm Gardens building. Over the last decade, we’ve embarked on a refurbishment journey to enhance your experience, from the swimming pool and gymnasium, to coffee lounge, café, library, function room, restaurant and kitchen, apartment common areas and immaculate gardens.
We’ve also brought our villas and apartments into line with contemporary interior design, with stylish refurbishments designed with your needs in mind focusing on creating space, enhancing useability (such as soft touch drawer closes) and optimising window views to soak in the natural beauty of our unique coastal setting. It’s a truly breathtaking vantage point, with panoramic 180-degree Indian Ocean views, matched by 180-degree views back across Perth and the Darling Ranges.

Our Care Team is based in the village twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Our exclusive care service and emergency call system gives you and your family peace of mind with a dedicated staff member always onsite to provide immediate support.
As an approved home care provider, Ocean Gardens can provide approved residents with services under a government-funded Home Care Package, to support you in your own home at the village.
We can also offer self-funded home care support services or you can choose your own preferred provider for a variety of services tailored to your specific needs. Our Care Team can make it simple and easy to create your personal support plan.
The Ocean Gardens Wellness Team encourages residents to embrace a holistic approach to health and wellbeing.
Our fundamental goal is to enhance longevity and support you to maintain independence within our community. Our team consists of qualified health professionals dedicated to providing a personalised service, with programmes designed for residents of all ages and abilities. These can include group exercise sessions in the pool and gym as well as individual exercise sessions available in the pool, the gym, or your home.
The twenty-metre pool is ideal for swimming laps and walking and aqua fitness classes with our Wellness Team. The gym is equipped with commercial-grade fitness and rehabilitation equipment, designed to support your physical health and wellbeing.
