Kary Murray NEW

Business Manager, Residential and Community Services

Kary trained as a Registered Nurse and midwife at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in SA before moving to Flinders Medical Centre, then to WA in 1995 where she worked at St John of God Subiaco. Working life changed direct ion in her late 30s and she completed an Advanced Diploma in Accounting while working as a Finance / HR Administrator. When Kary’s children left home she moved to a management role at Advocare Inc. and studied a Bachelor of Commerce. Most recently she led a Community Care Team at the Bethanie Group. Kary intends to do a re-entry program for Registered Nurses in 2019.

Joanna holds a Bachelor of Physical Education and Exercise Sport Science from the University of Otago, New Zealand and has over 10 years’ experience in the corporate health and wellness industry and population specific exercise physiology. Prior to Ocean Gardens Joanna worked overseas in Tenerife, Spain, implementing and managing a new Wellness Program in a five star resort before moving to Bermuda where she worked in a private gym running a small diet centre for expats. Having joined the Ocean Gardens team in 2015, Joanna is responsible for developing and implementing the Wellness Program, delivering high quality exercise programs and working closely with other allied health professionals to ensure the best health outcomes for Ocean Gardens residents.
